A think-tank of independent and open-minded professionals with the passion for digital finance
In today’s financial world, where existing business , legal and regulatory frameworks risk disruption by innovative, fast moving technologies, AFiDi offers a forum to exchange ideas and build bridges between those technology and business drivers with a purpose to identify the major game changers in the financial sector.
For individuals from the business side, and from the technology side, or for anyone passionate about the disruptive potential of the Digital Finance , AFiDi is an independent think-tank where ideas can be voiced, shared, challenged, developed, and tested.
AFiDi is an association of individuals who aim at promoting communication and exchange of ideas without lobbying for particular industry interests. However, we welcome contributions from representatives of business associations, professions and regulators to our discussions on the topics which we all identify as key. As a young and motivated organisation, we will of course appreciate the support of equally motivated sponsors who share our vision.
We expect from all our members a high level of integrity and that they steer our discussions in an open and academic manner, notwithstanding of the organisations that they are affiliated to.
AFiDi is a thinkthank which aims at federating a variety of expertise and backgrounds. We aim at building bridges between the business, legal, audit, advisory and regulatory experts of the Financial, Technology and Academic worlds.
We shall focus on the most recent technologies and anticipate upcoming changes. We believe that fostering communication between the technology drivers and the business world is the key to an efficient development in the financial sector.
At AFiDi, we believe that nuturing diversity in people and embracing others’ opinions leads to the genesis of great ideas.
In a constantly changing world, we firmly believe that curiosity is key to innovation and creativity. Therefore we stimulate the development of new ideas that challenge the current technology set-ups and drive innovation.
